About the assignment

Do you have an analytical mind, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for technology that actually works – for real?

We are now looking for a Test and Verification Engineer for a consulting assignment where you will be a key person in ensuring functionality, quality, and performance in advanced technical systems.

In this role, you will combine practical testing work with technical analysis and problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with designers, systems engineers, and software developers to ensure that the products meet the highest technical standards.

The work spans the entire testing chain – from planning and developing test methods to verifying compliance with requirements and documenting results.

The work will primarily be carried out on-site in Arboga, with the possibility of hybrid work.

Examples of tasks:

• Perform tests on hardware, prototypes, and complete systems to verify functionality, performance, and quality

• Design and implement test methods and develop test automation (including CI/CD tools)

• Collaborate with development teams to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems

• Document test results and participate in formal verification

• Troubleshoot and analyze problems within hardware, embedded systems, and communication (e.g., CAN, Ethernet)

We believe you have:

• Solid experience (+5 years) in testing and verification work with a focus on hardware and embedded systems

• Good knowledge in electronics, physics, and mechanics

• Experience in programming in Python and C++ (preferably also Rust)

• Understanding of communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet

• Experience in testing methodology, requirements management, and test automation

• Ability to analyze complex systems and systematically identify and solve problems

• Good collaboration skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams

Education:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, computer engineering, or technical physics.

Meritorious:

• Experience with CI/CD environments, HIL testing, or automated testing systems

• Knowledge in embedded programming or software testing

• Experience with measurement equipment, signal analysis, and testing in laboratory environments

• Previous work in industries such as automotive, defense, energy, or industrial automation
